Texas Private Security Level III Recertification

The price of this course includes both the online classroom portion and the in-person proficiency portion. This 6-hour recertification course is designed for currently licensed Texas Level III Private Security Officers. It refreshes essential knowledge in legal authority, report writing, crime scene response, defensive tactics, and firearms proficiency. The course includes both an online classroom portion and required in-person practical training.

To complete the Texas DPS-mandated recertification, you must successfully finish:

The online classroom portion, and

The in-person defensive tactics and firearms proficiency evaluations.

You may complete the in-person portion with us or with another qualified instructor of your choice. The course price is the same either way.

If you choose to complete the in-person portion with another instructor, you must request your certificate of completion by email after finishing the online portion. If you complete the in-person portion with us, your certificate will be awarded at the range following your proficiency evaluation.
